How domesticated am I!???

Eh, no – I didn’t do any “housework” really, but I did make a carrot cake that turned out rather delicious, I finished one warp, finished beading another scarf and started another… this one has to be called “The big blue” there are no other words for it!                Continue reading “How domesticated am I!???”

at last I uploaded – Spring & Summer fruits!

at least that’s what the colours read like! Raspberry, cherry blossom, honeysuckle, hot pink, fuscia, fuzzy peach… either that or a list of cocktail names! WHAT date is it?!

I’ve no idea when I last posted – I’m sure I posted a few things…”in my imagination”… Never mind. I’ve not stopped running, worrying and weaving since I last posted. And shake it all loose…

You know when you’ve just finished your step or aerobics class (way back in the day, when I actually did something other than running after a baby for exercise!), and they tell you to “take a deep breath, and shake it all loose”? – Well, that’s what I need to do weaving-wise. Something with “no-stress”Continue reading “And shake it all loose…”

The Great Green-ness

My husband has just been commenting on the prevalence of green in my recent designs (scarves both on and off the loom)…mmm, this is true. But what can I say – “Green” is like air (as far as I’m concerned)! How do you exist without “GREEN”??? (Besides, green’s in the colour forecasts for autumn /Continue reading “The Great Green-ness”
