Well, I’ve not been online for a while, which makes me look like a slacker…I’ve got a very good excuse, really I do!
My cotton warp is made and on the loom and have started weaving. The colours are based on colour forecasts for Summer 2008 for interiors, beautiful powder pinks, fleshy tones, pale green and blue. To be honest the colours make me think of buildings I’ve seen in pictures of Miami (never been so I can only say I’ve seen it in pictures!) and now every time I sit down to start weaving, I have U2’s song “Miami” in my head!
Table Mats…Can’t think of a catchy title!

Mmmmm, lovely colours. I haven’t even seen pictures of Miami, so they are making me think of frescoes – lots of colour but with a softening chalkiness.
